Angelica

Angelica Panganiban, a Filipino American model and actress who also works as a television hostess as well as a comedian. Panganiban has been referred to as the queen of Drama in numerous media. Panganiban's versatility and experience in the field of acting is widely appreciated. The contestant was among the youngest to ever be 2nd. Angelica Hale, then 4 years old, was taken extremely sick in 2012 as a result of an infection caused by strep bacteria. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston were where she was treated to treat her condition, which was lifesaving ECMO-based life support. Her condition became severe and she had kidney failure and organ failure which did not heal. Her new norm was hemodialyses as well as peritoneal dialysis. After spending over 80 days in the hospital and a few days in the hospital, she was in danger of death to an extended recuperation path. After one year and a half of dialysis, Angelica was ready to undergo the biggest surgery in her life: a kidney transplant. The mother of Angelica was the organ donor. Angelica and her mother had the surgery to remove their kidneys successfully on September 13, 2013 at Emory University Hospital and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston, two hospitals situated across from one. Angelica Hale pursued her dream of becoming a celebrity from the beginning.
